My first art piece for this year’s Project for Awesome art perk! I’m really happy to get to be a part of P4A this year and can’t wait to draw more of these. Each piece will be different and most will be like this, done in pen and watercolors (: I have made myself a list of ideas already but if you guys have any suggestions feel free to reply with them here.
Who knows what book this was inspired by :) ? Read this book and liked it a lot, so decided to do some fan art! Nice quick read that is relatable and humorous. It’s easy to want to compare books written by the same author, but I don’t think its fair to compare vastly different stories. Take each book as its own little entity. And don’t dislike a book just because other people didn’t like it.
Thank you so much kind anon! And want to just take a second to thank everyone while likes/ rebloggs/ stops by my tumblr, can’t tell you how much I appriciate it!

Art Assignment 12: Imprint
Scanned versions of my art assignment pieces, made using a cut in half and dipped in paint aloe vera leaf, paper bag, plastic container, and napkin! Wanted to upload the scanned versions too because the photos don’t really show them very accurately. done in watercolor
Sorry for taking up all your dashboard space!
The Art Assignment 12: Imprint
This art assignment sounded really neat so I had to do it right away! The task is to find an item, cut it, dip it in paint, and make repeat the pattern. Its so simple, and as Sopheap Pich says in the video, its really fun to have no idea what kind of pattern will come about. I did these outside and after I finished them it got very windy so they blew around the paint started to drip everywhere, oops!
I used watercolors, and the items used pictured next to the pieces in the photos from top down are a plastic plant container, and aloe vera leaf, a plastic bag, and a napkin.
will be uploading scanned version of these next!
My thoughts on Sharkweek :D Whats your favorite shark species? Leave a reply here or in a reblog and I’ll pick some of your favorites to draw this week!
To John Green and ALL of the nerdfighters right now who are battling their own tiny chickens, nerdfighteria is rooting for you and sending healing thoughts your way! Feel better soon (:
PS: If you know a nerdfighter who could use a get well soon card you are more than welcome to print this out! It would make me very happy because I made this with both John and all nerdfighters in mind!
